West or South London

We have a chance to house sit in either West London (near Queen's Park, closest station is Kensal Rise) or South London (Camberwell, Denmark Hill and East Dulwich are 10 -1 5 min walk). We will be hitting lots of the tourist stops during our week in London - wondering which would be more convenient?

West London will be more convenient for tourist sites.

I hope someone local will chime in to help. But looking at a map, it appears the south location is much further from the London tourist sites. Denmark Hill and East Dulwich are stations for the Overground and/or National Rail trains, not the London Underground (tube). I don’t know if this makes a difference in commuting connections ( for the better or for the worse). Camber well appears to be a neighborhood, but not a station.

Kensal Rise is probably better. Kensal Rise, Kensal Green and Queen's Park are kinda close to one another. You have quite a number of transport options.

2 overground lines, Bakerloo and jubilee.

Be careful. House sitting in the UK is considered work even if you are not getting paid. There was a TV show in the UK about Border Force and they showed a young American woman refused entry into the UK after she told them she was there to house sit. They told her they considered it work.

Your "payment" is free housing.

Kensal Rise station is not much use for getting into Central London as it's on the London orbital (North London) Overground line.
Queen's Park and Kensal Green (very close to Kensal Rise) are both Bakerloo line trains going into Central London -9 stops to Oxford Circus from QP. QP is also on the Watford DC lines- 3 stops into Euston
Denmark Hill is only 10 minutes into Victoria or 12 minutes into Blackfriars, but then change to tube for other London destinations, East Dulwich goes to London Bridge, not the most central of London Termini, both far lower frequency than the Tube.
I too am bemused by Camberwell- there are moves to re-open the station which was closed in 1916, but they are not yet in any formal plans, so years away.
So I would choose West London as a firm leader over South London- it's far more convenient for tourist purposes.
There's no distance at all between Kensal Rise and Queen's Park, if the address is between the North London line and the Bakerloo, so I'm wondering if the real address is north of the Orbital line, bordering on Brondesbury or Willesden. It would be useful to know both addresses to be certain, but West London on the information given.
