The pre Christmas bus strikes are still on and Thursday 21 December- so there will now be little or no service on these routes from 0500 on 21 December to 0600 on 24 December

On Dec 21st I will need to get from Holiday Inn Bloomsbury Coram St. to the Baker Street Visitor Centre 144 Marylebone Rd.
and then on Dec 23 from Traflagar Square area to Stop Z6, 50 Grosvenor gardens by Taiwan embassy.
From reading the posts above, it appears both of these days will be bus strikes. Is taxi then the only option?

For Journey 1 walk 7 minutes to the British Library and catch the 205 bus (which is still running) to Baker Street Station- timetabled as a 9 minute journey;
For Journey 2 catch bus 24 (which is running) from Trafalgar Square to 50 Grosvenor Gardens (timetabled as an 8 minute journey), and walk 5 minutes; or the District/Circle tube lines from Embankment to Victoria then a marginally shorter walk.

Only the routes listed above are affected.

Friday 22 and Saturday 23 December

Looks like they want a long Christmas weekend...?

By having extended the action to cover 3 days the whole idea is to cause the maximum inconvenience on the busiest shopping weekend of the year. Especially with Christmas Eve being on a Sunday this year- when shops are limited to a 6 hour day- Saturday is probably going to be especially busy, and Sunday fairly quiet for shopping.

There are further strikes on the same routes from 5am on 1 February to 6am on 6 February, with little or no service expected throughout that time.
