Going to London in June and have time to see two shows. Which musicals do you recommend? I am seeing Hamilton in NYC in July and just saw an amazing performance of Wicked last Memorial Day in NYC so, looking for something other than these specific shows. Thanks!
We saw Les Mis while in London!
Six, especially the sing a long version.
Six! But also, if you’re in the mood for Cabaret, the current production is very well done.
Cabaret.
Or for something a bit different, Operation Mincemeat. Operation Mincemeat.
Besides 6, Tina, Back to the Future, Play That Goes Wrong, Book of Mormon, Hades Town.
Another vote for Back to the Future - the set is amazing...
Mama Mia, it was so great!
We also loved The Book of Mormon, The Play that Goes Wrong, and Six
I second Operation Mincemeat! A real treat!
Six — saw it a couple years ago and loved it.
For this June I bought tickets to Operation Mincemeat (glad to see your recommendations!)
Go for something you can't see on Broadway: Matilda: The Musical.
Six is a lot of fun! It's also a shorter show - about 80 minutes and no intermission. Hadestown is also an excellent musical.
The first show I saw on the West End was Les Miserables. It was fantastic.
