We are flying in from the states to see Coldplay August 31st. What is the best way to get back to the Victoria Station area? Our hotel is about a 1/2 mile from the station. I read in some places that since it's such a large crowd/concert they will run the tube and buses later? Thank you.

Not sure if they will run anything later on a Sunday night, but you can use the TFL website to plan your journey in a few days (currently can only plan out until August 26) https://tfl.gov.uk/plan-a-journey or use the Wembley Stadium planner https://www.wembleystadium.com/plan-your-visit/getting-to-wembley. You can tap in and out with your contactless credit card to pay for tube and bus. Just be patient and go with the flow and thousands of your closest friends all heading the same direction as you.

Wembley is very used to getting large crowds away from concerts. It will be busy but it’s well organised and you will get back to Victoria.
Oh, and don’t bring your HR Director.
