Warren House?

Please share your thoughts on Warren House located in Kingston-Upon-Thames. I'm looking for feedback on the lodging, specifically, as well as the area itself. We are a family of 4 - husband, myself and two teenage daughters, 18 and 19.

We are in London for 4 days, one of which will be spent at Wimbledon for the championships. I'd like to take the family to see Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. Other than maybe an afternoon and celebration dinner for my daughter's 18th birthday, I do not think we will spend much time in London city this trip. That is why I thought perhaps staying elsewhere.

I am charmed by all things traditionally British and would enjoy staying in such an area or visiting. In the past, I've particularly liked Chichester, Arundel, and Bath. I'm not put off by what some may call "too touristy." I am a tourist, after all :)

Opinions welcome!

Thank you...

I have never heard of Warren House, so no opinion there.

Kingston upon Thames is certainly quite a nice place, and reasonably close to SW19 - Wimbledon. It is by no means rural, although the walk along the river can be very pleasant; it is what I would describe as suburban verging on inner suburban.

You could do worse.
