Walking tours of London and Dublin

Hello. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a tour guide for a 3-4 hour walking tour of both cities in May? Thank you!

I can't speak for Dublin, and London s so spread out that fitting it into one tour may be challenging. Check out London Walks. They're very good. https://www.walks.com/

Thank you. My husband and I have 2 days in both London and Ireland. We’ve never been, so looking for classic tour of key sights. I will check out your suggestion.

Every visit to London I invest in a London Walk. Always informative, inexpensive, worth the effort.

Last July it was Inns of the Court.

Haven’t been to Dublin in 25 years.

London is very large and spread out, so a walking tour that attempted to cover a bunch of the key sights would spend a high percentage of the time just moving between them. I'd be surprised if any company even attempts, such a thing.

St. Paul's Cathedral is 1.9 miles from Westminster Abbey. The Tower of London is 1.1 miles beyond St. Paul's Cathedral. Those places are all relatively near the river, on the north side. If you wanted to see the British Museum (considerably farther from the river between Westminster Abbey and St. Paul's), that detour would add another mile to the walk. The Victoria and Albert Museum is 2.1 miles west of Westminster Abbey, in the opposite direction from all the other places I've mentioned.

Rick has five free walking tours for London available through the Rick Steves' Audio Europe app. They may be in his London guidebook as well.

I do like London Walks a lot
