Walking Holiday Tour Operators - Lake District

I am planning a 100-mile-long hiking trip in the Lake District for 2026. I want to hike about seven days or so.

I would like to use a tour operator that provides four services: suggest itineraries; make reservations prior to the hike for each night of it; transport my bag from hotel to hotel; and provide a number to call in case I have a question or need something while hiking.

I have found out about two tour operators: Wilderness England and Brigantes.

Do you have experience with any one of these organizations and what was your experience with them? Can you suggest others?

This suggestion is a bit of a tangent to your question. Have you considered HF holidays? They have 2 country house hotels in the Lake District. You can do self guided walking or guided walking (with options at different grades).

I don't have experience with the tour operators you mentioned but can suggest another. We've booked with Northwestwalks for the Coast to Coast walk next year and so far are satisfied with the service. The friend who is leading our group has used Northwestwalks before and came back for a second time.

I've used Footpath Holidays for self-guided holidays and been happy with them.

I'm a huge fan of HF Holidays which has been mentioned but I'm not sure that's what you're looking for.
