Plan to walk the Cotswold Way in June 2015. Is it reasonably likely to be able to walk into a town or village around 4pm and be able to find accommodations or due to time of year are places likely to be booked. Are there the equivalent of TI's along the way that can help with accommodations on the day of? Thanks
There are Cotswold Way touring companies that will design a walking tour for you and make accommodations arrangements and port your bags (and you) to the next location. That way you can have peace of mind and won't have to back track. There are TI's in most of the larger villages. Your only problem is that you will be in a very popular area just when school is out and the world tourists show up. Remember that June can be very rainy and dress accordingly.

To simplify life, I've used the Contours Walking Holiday booking service for accommodations and luggage transfer service. They also provide self-guiding information and maps. I have not done their southern England walks, but did two northern England and the West Highland using Contours.
