Visiting Cornwall & Need Advice

I'm going to be taking a tour of Italy in the fall & prior to that, will be spending a few days in both Cornwall & London. In London, I expect I'll be quite busy between multiple nights in the West End, museums, a Jack the Ripper Tour & any number of other things, but I'm curious if I'm on the right track as far as things to see & do in Cornwall?

I'll be staying at the Jamaica Inn, & as a lifelong fan of Arthurian myths & legends, I'm planning to visit Tintagel, the Arthurian Centre & Dozmary Pool. I'll also be going to the Museum of Witchcraft & the Lost Gardens. I'm curious if anyone might have suggestions on places to eat or other nearby things to do?

Only to say I went to Cornwall years ago, similarly to fulfill a sort of dream -- a fascination with St. Michael's Mount after having read about it in National Geographic when I was a child. It was wonderful!
The only thing about Cornwall is it's a long way from London and as I recall the train connections were not that great, so it did involve many hours of travel coming & going.

epltd, I'll actually be taking a commuter flight to London. I'd rather not waste so much time on a train. Thanks for the tip on St. Michael's Mount. I suppose, if I travel that far, I might as well also try & fit in Penzance?

Yes James, I'll be driving, once I pick up my rental from Newquay. Thanks. I'd read about the Eden Project - have you visited? Doc Martin is something I'd be curious about. On a tour I'd done of Ireland last year, I caught a couple of episodes & we'd passed something that I guess is seen in the opening credits, although I think I may need to read up a bit more.

The Minack Theatre is well worth a visit. Also, while you're in Tintagel don't forget to visit the post office.

I loved the Lost Gardens and they're on my list of places to go back to.

Yes, I have been to the Eden Project = Cornwall’s most visited attraction and well worth it. However, I did find queues at around opening time so it might be better to go somewhere else (such as Fowey) in the morning & arrive at Eden around 1pm.
