We will be in London in early October and would like to visit Bletchley Park. Any recommendations on transportation and what to see in the area? Also, how much time should we allow for getting there and touring? Thanks.
This was well covered in a previous thread. I am sure if you search on "Bletchley" you will find it.
Here's one recent thread (with me in it)

Google Maps will chart out a route for you, probably Underground connecting into a regional train, depending on your point of departure.
Do try to be at Bletchley when the giant decoding machine is being demonstrated. Maybe you could e-mail for a schedule; the museum has a decent web site.
