Virgin Atlantic Website Popup Problems – Any Solutions?

I received an updated booking confirmation email from Virgin Atlantic.

When I click “Manage Your Booking,” I am taken to a page which shows that my passport information, etc. for the flight from the US to the UK (Atlanta to Edinburgh) is complete, but it does not have a complete status for the return flight (London Heathrow to Atlanta).

When I click on the link to complete the information, I get a popup that reads: “We’re sorry, a change affecting your trip may also impact your FlyReady status. Please review your steps and complete any missing information.”

The popup has a large red “Continue” button, but when I click it, the popup merely reloads and will not let me continue.

I have logged out and deleted browsing history (including cache and cookies) and tried again with the same result. I’ve also tried different browsers and a different computer with the same result.

The V.A. chat feature was useless, and I am getting ready to call their number, but in case it’s a long wait, has this happened to anyone recently and how did you solve it?

All the best,

Raymond

Thanks for the reply.

I did get through to the V.A. operator faster than I thought, and he said basically the same thing.

For some reason, the email makes it appear that I was missing something from my Atlanta to Edinburgh flight, though, so it was a bit confusing. This was a new email from my earlier confirmation email. I've not had this issue before.

Glad you got it fixed. I had to call VA customer service due to a software glitch. I had to call 2 times and they called me back once. All the agents were great. I got through quickly each time. Very good customer service experience.
