Village and Accommodation to Stay in During a Cotswold Visit

My wife and I will have a car and be spending 3 nights in the Cotswolds. We would like to spend our 3 nights in one of the most picturesque Cotswold villages with sufficient good eatery choices for 3 nights and an excellent accommodation, preferably with car parking. Would appreciate recommendations from experience as to the village and accommodation we should choose, along with eateries we should patronize.

Bourton-on-the-Water the Old Manse Hotel is a really nice hotel.

I stayed in Chipping Campden two years ago and loved that village. I didn't have a car, but was lucky to have friends in the area who drove me to many of the villages and I also took a full day van tour to see many of the others. I stayed at the Bantam Tea Room & Guest House which had parking in the back of the property. There are many lovely choices for accommodation in the area. I loved the room I had and also enjoyed having tea one afternoon. Their breakfasts and lunches were good, too. The property is not attended at night, but there is a number to call in case of emergencies. My bathroom was particularly large with modern fittings. The property is right on the high street, but the rooms are mostly in the back of the property and were very quiet.
