Vacouver Studios London

Wondering if anyone has had recent experience with Vancouver Studios in London. I am looking at a cozy (code for very small I assume) single room. It says it has a kitchenette which will be great to make some meals. Hopeing someone has stayed recently and even better in a cozy single room. Just wanted to get an opinion on the room. Reviews look good.

Haven’t stayed there in years as I now stay with friends BUT for years it was my place to stay. Was told about it by a flight attendant.

Throughly enjoyed having the kitchenette, the location and the option of 2 tube stations. Also liked all the food options along Queensway. Good stroll to Kensington Gardens.

Hopefully someone who has stayed there recently will chime in as well.

I stayed there in November in a twin studio with my best friend. It was a return visit for me as my husband and I stayed there maybe 15 years ago. It’s a friendly, clean place. The bathrooms I had 15 years ago, and in November, were very small but clean and functional. It’s a safe area, good places to eat within walking distance and great transportation connections. We used the fridge but not the cooktop or kettle - but that’s just us and what we were doing on this visit. If stairs are a concern, ensure that you have that covered with the reservation desk. I’d definitely stay there again- the price and location are right.

Thank you for the information. Do you remember if they had a toaster in the room. It would be useful in making breakfast. I will reach out to the hotel but also love to hear personal experiences.

I don't remember reliably about the toaster- I'd check with the hotel for best results.

We are staying there the end of March. Not sure when you are going, but can provide a review post trip if you are in summer.

Thank you I will be staying in June. I did reach out to the hotel and they do have a toaster in the room. As well as a kettle, microwave and fridge.

Hope you enjoy your stay

We stayed there for a week in October. They had upgraded us to a very large apartment in the lower level. We had a bed/kitchen in the front room by the street and a bedroom with 2 twin beds by the garden area. This worked out well for us because the bedroom in the back by the garden was quieter than the street side. We cooked a few meals at the apartment and they had a good supply of kitchen ware. We walked to so many places from here. You can walk thru Kensington Gardens to many of the museums in Kensington like the V&A in about 20-30 minutes if I recall. And access to the tube from the apartment is really convenient. It was a nice stay.
