Is it possible to purchase second-hand trekking poles in Bath? I would like to use trekking poles in the Cotswold area, but don't want to fly with them. If I can get "thrift shop" poles, I can just donate them at the end of our journey.
it's possible, but there's no guarantee you'd find a pair at a charity shop
try Millets or Blacks more likely to have a budget brand
I was in a Cotswold store last week and saw that they had brand new collapsable £35 ones on sale for £15. You would have to take them in blue though.
We got ours in the Cotswolds, in the village of Broadway.
You might want to check into the possibility of renting poles, since it's such a popular area for walks/hikes.
We rented them through the company that organized our walk -- Cotswold Walks.
