URGENT: Need recommendation of reputable minibus company for transport between Oxford and Bath

Hi everyone -- three of us (all older, one with early stage Parkinson's disease) are starting the Best of England tour a couple of days early in Oxford. We would like to pool funds and travel from Heathrow to Oxford by minibus on Friday, Sept. 27, because one of our party does NOT do well after the long flight from the West Coast and needs to avoid the stress of luggage and crowded train/bus travel.

The next minibus ride we need would be from Oxford to Bath on Sunday, Sept. 29, arriving at our Bath hotel before 16:00. We have checked the train and bus schedules for that Sunday and nothing works (either the train has too short connection times at Didcot Parkway for our needs and the bus won't get us to Bath on time for our 16:00 meeting time--it goes back to London, long layover, etc.).

I found and have emailed ([email protected]) Celtic Horizon Tours, mentioned in the RS England book, but they have not responded (will try phoning next). Has anyone used them either for a tour or simple transport?

Can anyone help us with recommendations, please? Thank you!

Not what you asked about, but Didcot is a small station so even a short connection will be doable. If you have trouble walking, there is assistance available: https://www.gwr.com/plan-journey/journey-information/assisted-travel

I don’t do jet lag well at all and I’m healthy. I have a very hard time not wanting to get to my hotel within an hour or so after clearing customs and such a long flight. If you don’t have to go to Oxford, why not just spend the night near Heathrow or in London and train to Bath the next day?
Hopefully you get a response from the minibus company.

If you went via Didcot you would arrive at either platform 4 or 5. Trains to Bath Spa leave from platform 1. There is a lift down from 4/5 and a slope up to platform 1 as well as stairs.
