Updated/recent advice needed: Where to keep luggage when taking a train to Highclere?

I know this question has been asked but it appears to be some time ago. We will unfortunately be "between hotels" on the day of our ticketed visit. We plan on booking taxis to and from the station. Looking to see what others have done. Thank you!
