Underground safety with all luggage from Heathrow to Southbank

Hi again,

I'll be traveling from Heathrow to Southbank via Tube during the morning rush hour with my luggage. My fiancé and I will each have a checked bag and carry on. I claim to be a semi-pro photographer and will have some expensive gear with me.

Is there a location on the Tube trains that is less likely to see any… issues than others? Probably a silly question, but thought I'd ask.

During rush hour, if you want a seat, it's definitely better to go to the very front care or very back car. You should be okay from Heathrow until it's time to change lines.

Thanks for the details!

My stop is Lambeth North, which I think is just one stop down the line from Waterloo.

When I took the Piccadilly Line from Heathrow, I sat just across from the door, with my bag on the floor in the open space next to me. Since it starts at Heathrow, I had my choice of seats. The car got increasingly crowded as we went along, so much so that I wondered how I would actually get to the door with my luggage when the time came. I was going clear to Kings Cross, but most of the commuters got off at Piccadilly Circus, and the car was nearly empty again by the time we got to KC. I never considered whether there could be any kind of problem, and the commuters could not possibly have cared less about the tourists on board. I doubt that morning rush hour would be a peak time for bag theft or anything, since the cars are so crowded.
