Underground Rail Strikes

A new wave of strikes have been announced - this time for the London Underground. so more likely to affect many more people.

They will run from Sunday 23rd July to Friday 28th July.

What is going to make these ones tricky are that they are rolling strikes across the network so will affect different lines at different times. The only plus is that at least TFL have more than two weeks to update their schedules.

Don't forget that National Rail is also suffering strikes on the 20th, 22nd and 29th July.

TFL haven't said when they will update their site with details - and it's not clear when they will even be told. I don't know if the 14 day prior notice rule applies to specific details or not.

This is the TfL strike page- https://tfl.gov.uk/campaign/strikes?cid=email_FINAL_TFL1180_Tube_NR_Strike-visit+our+website

Please note that this update states that-

There will be little or no Tube service between Tuesday 25 and Friday
28 July There will be no Night Tube service running overnight on
Friday 28 July

Also that Elizabeth Line Stations which are shared with Tube stations

may be affected by station closures where stations also serve London Underground lines

even though the line itself is not impacted by the strike.

But for instance Tottenham Court Road (although a tube interchange) Elizabeth Line is technically a separate station to the tube station, likewise Paddington.
