Undercroft Cafe at Windsor Castle

It only opened a few days before lockdown, so I doubt many people have had the opportunity to visit.

It is obviously a lovely setting, but the media reports of its opening refer to a rather dull menu of sandwiches, Victoria sponge cake, scones etc. I think that it’s only available for those visiting the Castle, not to the general public.

Anything is a quantum leap improvement from the previous nothing. Summer 2018 there was an ice cream stand, & gift shop chocolates, period - not even a cuppa on offer. Glad to hear about the Undercroft.

We ate in town, lots of choices.
