What's your nationality?
Most of us who do not live in the UK are American citizens. We have no such requirement.
If you are a citizen of another nation, we'd have no knowledge of those requirements.
Thus, Nigel's response is valid.

Then we don't know the answer. Similarly, we couldn't even tell you what you need to obtain a visa to enter the United States.
The answer will have to come from the British consulate.
