UK Parliament tours -- which to choose

I'm trying to decide which of these two tours to book for Fri 01 Sep -> 90-minute guided tour of the Palace of Westminster vs. 75-min tour of the State Apartments of Speaker's House

Does anyone have experience with tours at Westminster/Parliament?

Took and enjoyed the 90 minute guided tour. Liked seeing how small the chambers were. No pictures allowed.

After the tour had tea and scones there. Uncertain if this is still allowed.

I did the 90 minute tour last year in April and it was one of the most fascinating and interesting things I've done yet in London, absolutely money well-spent. Very informative guide who explained not just the workings of the two Houses of Parliament but also why they are so vastly different in appearance, with lots of fun tidbits of info thrown in. When I visited the State Apartment tour was not being offered, but I just checked it out and I would certainly make a point to do that on my next trip to London.

I took the 90 Minute Parliament tour awhile ago and loved it. From seeing Queen Victorias tiny throne(she was small)-to actually being on the House of Commons floor and learning the secrets of government, I enjoyed it. We had a great tour guide.
