Ubers in Cotswolds?

Hello again, one more question. If we stayed in a small town on Cotswold, like Castle Combe or like, what are the options if we didn’t want to rent a car? Are Uber (or the like) common/easily accessible? Or could we hire a car/driver for the day and split it 4 ways for a somewhat reasonable rate (like less than $50 a person). Just trying to figure out our options, I’m OK with renting a car if it’s a must to see the country side.

I read the title and thought "what the hell are Ubbers?" thinking perhaps they were some sort of walking boots only found in the US or something. Still none the wiser reading the post until it finally dawned on me that the OP was referring to Uber!

As far as I'm aware Uber don't operate in the Cotswolds. You'll only find them in large cities.

'Udders' was the second thing to cross my mind. I am thinking there would be a few of those in the Cotswalds....but, no Uber.

The Cotswolds are not too hard to see with a rental car. We stayed in Chipping Campden at the Volunteer Inn, which has a nice pub and Indian Restaurant. Parking is available close by. We used it as a base to see the Cotswolds, which took about two days.

Also, we visited Oxford, Blenheim Palace and Stratford Upon Avon.

Rick Steves guide of Great Britain has a good self drive tour of the Cotswolds.
Don't miss Cirenchester.

Whoopsie! I edited it to reduce future confusion, humiliation, etc. Can you tell we don’t really use it in my neck of the woods?

Thank you geovagriffith! Looks like we will be renting a car.

There are cabs, they would take you to a village and pick you back up at the time you ask them to. You could agree on the cost before you go.
