Two For One London Walks

Found out London Walks are not accepting National Rail Travelcards from London National Rail Stations on the Two for One. Only tickets purchased outside of London can be used.

Well, that's a bummer! I wonder if other attractions will follow suit?

The London Walks 2for1 offers are a bit confusing. I thought all the walks qualified but I was kindly educated on the first walk we showed up for. The only one that worked for our schedule was the British Museum tour. I must say that it was nothing short of FABULOUS. Karen, the guide, is very dramatic and entertaining. She takes you to all the highlights and points out their nuances and history. Because we had been out and about, we decided to join them at the Museum instead of going to the tube stop. The guides carry London Walks brochures so we just hung out at the entry until we spotted them and the group (you'll see lots of tour groups). The walks are great - we went on several. Don't let the 2for1 deal keep you from joining them.

Re Days Out website - I saw that but just thought it was reiterating the usual prohibition on Underground purchased Travelcards. As I can't believe I'm the only one to be confused by this, I've suggested London Walks consider indicating they will not accept any Travelcard or better yet, explicitly excluding National Rail purchased Travelcards. Expecially since even the boilerplate fine print attached to their voucher indicates "You must produce two valid National Rail tickets....National Rail issued tickets include Off-Peak, Super Off-Peak, Travelcard".
