Not our first trip to London (7 for me), just to clarify my choices, but our first day we arrive by Eurostar from Belgium, get to our hotel (close to Vic station) then set out..I’m wondering about best transport route to the following - from hotel to Borough market for lunch. Over the bridge (walk) to Leadenham Hall, Sky Garden (must book), maybe a quick stop to Mueseum of London and then hopeful for a dinner at the Mayflower in Rotherhithe. Does this look doeable? I believe bus C10 is a good route for a portion? Welcome thoughts and helpful suggestions.
Tube for first part. Then yes walk to Leadenhall Market. Easy peasy stroll to Sky Garden from Leadenhall. The last bit to Rotherhithe could be tube, bus or a long but interesting walk. I've done the walk from Tower Bridge to the Mayflower but that might not be what you'd prefer. Tfl.gov.uk should be able to say whether taking the tube from Monument or Tower Hill would be a better choice to get to Rotherhithe train station. Not a long walk to the Mayflower from there.
Yes, I know about TFL and have used it several times. I guess my question was more that would this be a viable itinerary for one day and the best transport between all points to make it viable. Thanks Claudia for your response. I will also do another TFL search
What day of the week?
Have fun!
