Tune Hotel, Kings Cross, London? (or other recommendations)

I'm wondering if anyone has experience with Tune Hotels in London? I will be staying 10-12 days, and would like to pay around $100/night if possible. Convenient location is important to me, as are en suite room, safety, typically quiet, and cleanliness. I don't need a lot of amenities and am fine with the pay-for-service model they use. However, I'm wondering if anyone has direct experience with any of the Tune Hotels in London.

Or if you have other recommendations, I'd welcome them.

I was looking at LSE dorms, but saw too many comments about noisy groups and bad beds.

Sherry, I have had good stays at two different B&B networks: London Home to Home, and At Home in London. Prices for one person should be in your range in many if not all of the homes, and there are lodgings all over London. Check their websites for descriptions of the different options. And have a great trip!

Sherry,

RE to LSE.

the only LSE i used is on Endsleigh PL.

The only time it was "noisy" was wham they are moving Heavy Construction equipment one night @ 2300.

Ive stayed there 3x and not have any issues with other noise.

happy trails.

Have a look at the Lancaster Hall and see if it meets your needs. It's basic but cheap and cheerful. The location is super convenient for the Central line.
