We are arriving in London, August 26th in the early am. I was online searching for tickets to plays and noticed that a tube strike is scheduled for several days beginning the 26th. Has anyone heard about this possible disruption of service.

I just noticed that Nigel posted this very topic. I guess there will be no service on the 26th so we will have to try alternate transportation from Heathrow to Victoria Station.

FYI- we used Just Airports for our transfers to and from Heathrow. We booked ahead, they were prompt, professional and a very good price for our private taxi. We used them in 2013 as well as 2 weeks ago. They were excellent both times.
