Tube platform to train platform at Kings Cross

I'm taking the underground Tube from Heathrow to King's Cross station. ( Mon. Sept. 4 late morning ) Then I'm taking the train, LNER, to Edinburgh. How do I get to the LNER train platform at King Cross station once I get off the tube at Kings Cross station ?

After getting off the tube, look for the ”Way Out” sign which references the rail station. Follow the signs to the rail station. Everything is well marked. Once in the rail station, check the board to see which platform your train departs from.

Just follow the signs. It will take you up to street level and the train station. Very easy.

Yes the trains and the tube are separate things. You need to exit the tube by coming up to ground level to get the train. I can’t remember exactly how it’s signposted - maybe national rail services? Someone on here will know.

I don't remember the exact signs either - but, as the others have said, it is well signed posted. I've done this multiple times. And, best of all, if you are confused, English is the best language to use!!! Ask an official or probably someone in one the shops would be helpful as well.

Don't stress. There are probably maps of the station on-line. Maybe the signs say something like National Rail, but I could be inventing that idea.
