Tube from Paddington Station to Great Suffolk Street. Which stop for Great Suffolk?

I'm sure it's an easy answer, but for senior citizen doubting her travel skills, always like to check with the locals.

Staying at the Hilton London Bankside.

Thank you in advance for your time.

There are really no nearby tube stations, so a bit of walking is in order. Simplest is Circle Line to Blackfriars, but that means walking across Blackfriars Bridge. Look at options at https://tfl.gov.uk/

Southwark Station isn't far from there. That would probably be an Elizabeth Line train to Bond Street from Paddington, and The Jubilee Line from there to Southwark. I've never done it, but it would probably be quite a lengthy interchange at Bond Street. It's a bit of an awkward cross-town journey.

Of all the hotels in London, looks like I picked the most challenging to get to from Paddington. Other than changing hotels, any suggestions?

Ah it's not that bad! Just one change if you go to Southwark. Just a short walk over from Blackfriars if you get a Circle Line train from Paddington. I probably made it sound worse than it is. It's really not a bad location

No problem. I was just checking in case you were using the HEX from Heathrow, which wouldn’t have made any sense.

I wonder if Bakerloo line from Paddington to Baker St and then Jubilee line to Southwark would be easier since the change at Baker St is very easy. Just go through one of two short tunnels with no stairs.

By bus it’s a two-leg journey, and there is only one change, with no need to walk to a second stop to catch the connecting bus. This would allow you to see the sights as the bus drives along above ground.

Take the 205 from stop H at Paddington. On the 205 go 13 stops to King’s Cross, stop D. From there switch to the 63 and ride 12 stops. Get off at Stamford Street (stop SC). Walk 5 minutes to your hotel.

This trip takes about 45 minutes, which isn’t much longer than the tube. And there is no trudging around and climbing multiple annoying flights of stairs, as there would be on the underground.

I know, OP, you asked for tube directions. I like the bus. It is much cheaper, allows you to see London as you travel, and is generally much less exhausting. Also, there are relatively more designated seats for senior citizens on a bus compared to the tube, so you are pretty much guaranteed a place to sit with a view of the neighborhoods you’re passing through.

Just a thought. :-)
