Can you please give me the detailed public transportation options that are available to take a day trip from London to Kew Gardens. Thank you.
We are also visiting there soon. The district line stops at Kew Gardens - from Embankment station the train is supposed to take about 50 minutes. This information is from my own research. I also found a good pub - Tap on the Line right by the Kew Gardens station.
The Kew Gardens website lists the various options.

When I have visited, I’ve taken the tube (District Line) to the Kew Gardens station. It is then about a 5 minute walk to the gardens. When you exit the tube station, there are signs to Kew Gardens.
Where is your starting point?
If you desire a proper exact detailed route you need to share where in London your accommodation is located.
In order to say how to get there I need to know from where you are starting. I can think of at least 6 different ways to get there, all good in their own way but unless we know where to start it is hard to advise.
