I am visiting my daughter in Den Haag and would like to take a train ride to London. Can you please recommend an itinerary from January 1 through January 3. Thank you for any suggestions you may offer. I will be traveling solo. And being my first time I am concerned about how to go about this. Thank you.

Amsterdam would be a detour, Eurostar from Rotterdam is a much better idea. And you take the train to Rotterdam.

Eurostar tickets should be bought in advance, and if you are trying to book the trip now it will be very expensive.
