Travel with kids guidebook

Hi All,

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a good RS-type travel guide for England that is specifically written for families (particularly families with young kids). Websites abound, but many (if not most) are either an advertisement in disguise or they are some version of a "chamber of commerce" type site that just gives a bunch of information about everything equally without really any editorializing or discussion about the relative merits of different places.

One of the things I love about the RS guides is that they give a lot of good information, but they are also discerning in terms of what to include. I already have the RS guide for England, but I know that, given the general audience, he has some things that may interest families with young kids, but that isn't the real focus. If you know of a guide that has a similar style but whose main audience is families with young kids, I would love to know about it.

Not much in the way of a travel guide but the Gruesome Guide series (from the author of Horrible Histories) contains a number of historical guide books for several places in the UK. They're aimed at children but adults always enjoy them too.
