Travel to Conwy Wales from Heathrow

Hello,
I wonder if anyone has info on the easiest way to get to Conwy
Wales from Heathrow? I will be arriving in September & hope
to find the quickest, easiest way to northern Wales. Thank you
for your help!

Trains take 4.25 hours with a change of stations in London (Heathrow Express ending at Paddington station then local transport to Euston station) and a regular, one-station connection in Chester. You could also take the London Underground directly from Heathrow to St. Pancras/King's Cross station and then walk to Euston station. See www.nationalrail.co.uk.

National Express Coaches take twice as long to reach Llandudnow Junction.

Or you could get closer by flying to Manchester before switching to train.

Thank you ! Do you (or anyone on the Forum) know about the pros & cons of getting either a Skimmer Pass or Senior Coachcard from National Express?
Thanks again !!

I'm sure you already have your plane ticket, but for future info. It would of been easier to fly into Manchester since you are going to Conway first. Then you could fly out of Heathrow.

I would not use National Express to get from London to Conwy as they can get stuck in jams on the motorways. If you have checked out the trains and found very high prices, you need to pre-book - ideally at around 11 weeks ahead a specific train to get low prices. I would do this for London (EUSton) to Llandudno Junction with Virgin Trains though, I would also consider having an overnight at Chester first and then buying another ticket for onward travel to Conwy by train. (Virgin trains go through Conwy but don’t stop as they are express services). Llandudno Junction is only about a mile from Conwy - linked by local buses as well as Arrive Trains Wales.https://www.virgintrains.co.uk

(I will get back to you in the Wales forum).
