Using the tube may be problematical this Friday and Saturday as there is a 24 hour strike by several groups of maintenance staff and patrol staff - from 6.30 am on Friday.
There are three 24 hour and four 12 hour walkouts planned.

Agreed, Emma. I haven't seen the Standard today - left London too early.
They are a proper pain in the neck, as a nearly daily visitor to London.
I don't want to stir it up, just to prepare travelers and visitors to our fair land (not as fair as the land of your fathers, I know) of potential apple cart overturning events and give fair warning.
It will be real misery though if both the junior doctors and consultants go out together....
