Good afternoon! A friend and I will be traveling from Bath to Chipping Campden on a Sunday in late May. We are in CC for two days and will then go to York. I am finding all public transportation from Bath to CC will take 4-5 hours. And from what I've read, bus service isn't that reliable in the Cotswolds, so I'm worried it could be even longer, or we could get stranded somewhere. Can anyone recommend better options for us? I am open to all ideas. Thank you in advance!
Driving is the only "better" option in terms of duration and reliability.
You can do it in 3 hours 44 minutes by bus or 3 hours 5 mins - if you use the trains to get from Bath to Cheltenham (with a change at Bristol Temple Meads) and then buses. Click the link that follows for your journey & it will tell you what to do.

Train from Bath to Moreton in March then taxi to Chipping Campden is one option.

It’s not that buses aren’t reliable (they run to timetables) but Sunday buses in the Cotswolds are few and far between.
The number 2 on this link http://www.johnsonscoaches.co.uk/timetables/ runs from Moreton to CC but from April there seems to be no Sunday service
You could leave Bath at 9:43am arrive Moreton-Marsh at 11:59am a 2hr 16min trip. Then you would have to take either a bus it taxi to Chipping Campden, it’s a 15 minute taxi ride, a bus would be 27 minutes ride. There are no trains that go to Chipping Campden.
