I am doing one night in London before a cruise. I found the Hotel Indigo Tower Hill to be central to many sights that are within walking distance from the hotel. I will be travelling with elderly parents, so am looking for suggestions about the easiest way to get to the hotel as well as any other suggestions for hotels that may be well suited for easy walking and sight seeing/dining opportunities.
We will be returning the next day to the airport for transfer to the Princess ship. I am not looking for the cheapest option, but feel like taking a bus or managing the tube, may be too much after an overnight flight.

Which airport? There are five in London.
But if you don't want to take a bus or the tube, my suggestion is a car service.
The two most popular are Blackberry Cars and Just Airports. They must be booked ahead of time. Contact them for a quote.

We are doing Windsor at the end of the cruise as part of the return to the ship trip.
We are just flying standard. We did the same thing before travelling for a Rhine River cruise, in order to get adjusted to time change.
I think I need to figure out a central location that has a few sights or a bus tour we can do and just plan on an early evening to rest.
