National Express run barely any services of their own between Oxford and Heathrow. They pretend to do so by being resellers of the Oxford Airline bus tickets. So best to buy direct from the Airline than through a third party like National Express.

If you are more than a party of one, consider private transit. There were three of us and once you factored in the local bus to get to the bus to Heathrow for three, it was pretty much a wash. Having a car pick us up was so much easier and more time efficient.

Our B&b arranged transportation for us so I cannot recommend anyone specifically.
