Transportation from Heathrow to Chipping Campden

I want to stay in Chipping Campden next summer for 2-3 days and will be arriving into Heathrow from the US. I am female and will be traveling solo and do not feel comfortable renting a car and driving/navigating to/ from the airport by myself. What is the safest and most efficient way to get back and forth between the two? I do not mind renting a private car, taxi or uber from the airport. Since the train does not go all the way to Chipping Campden, having to hire a taxi once arriving to Morton in Marsh via train seems to be less reliable and time consuming. I want a few days to hike/walk the Cotswold area.

You could take a cab from Heathrow to Slough (it’s a10 mile trip) train station 15-18 minute train ride, then take train to Moreton-in-Marsh, Or you could get train from Heathrow to Slough, but you would have to change and it would be a 40 minute trip. Then get cab to Chipping Campden it’s 8 miles.

Oops!! I meant the taxi ride from a Heathrow to Slough is a 15-18 minute ride.

I'm sorry to disagree with Robin Z but in this case I have to.

Slough might work for the train to Moreton in Marsh and I wouldn't worry about a prebooked taxi from Moreton in Marsh to Chipping Campden. Just book it the day before or the morning before and they will meet the train.

It is a good 80 or 90 miles (depending on route) from Slough to Chipping Campden - and will take an hour and a half to two hours depending on traffic to drive the journey - self drive or taxi.

I think maybe Robin was thinking of Windsor?

There are also frequent buses from Heathrow to Slough that are a lot cheaper than a taxi.
