Is it necessary to book a train or bus from Bath to Bristol for May of this year. Not sure of frequency or if it saves more by booking ahead of time . Also any recommendations for luggage storage in Bath and do we need to reserve a locker ahead of time ? It may be easier to get a taxi for adults with luggage , any reputable company’s would be appreciated. ( esp since the taxi would take us to our hotel instead being dropped off at bus/ train station. ).
3rd topic: I did look at national express bus going from Oxford to LHR and it takes 3hrs 40 min. I thought there was a quicker bus. It probably again makes sense to do a taxi /uber for 4 unless I made a mistake. In your opinion which is more reliable taxi or uber ? Thank You Susan
This is the bus service between Oxford and Heathrow:

the Airline between Oxford and Heathrow, depending on terminal, takes 80 to 90 minutes.
Where did you find 3:40? That wasn't another Rome 2 Rio wacky answer was it?
I hope it hasn't worried you.
The Airline, and the Oxford Tube, two excellent London bound coach services from Oxford, are very well respected and very reliable.
Bath to Bristol-
Train- 4 per hour, the fare is the same booked ahead as on the day, £10.50, 18 minute journey;
Bus- a normal city bus route X39 and runs 4x per hour, so just pay the driver the £3 fare, 1 hour journey;
Luggage Storage- Stasher uses the Premier Inn.
The bus drops you off in the City Centre, Temple Meads station is on the edge of the city, so it depends what hotel you are staying at. For 4 people a fourteen mile taxi ride will be about the same price as the train for 4 people.
Oxford to LHR-
National Express run very few services. The vast majority of services they sell are as a reseller for the Oxford Airline- which takes 90 minutes.

So you may as well book direct with the Oxford Airline. I'm not sure how you derived your timing.
Looking at one taxi provider for OXF-LHR- quoting £120. The bus is £25 each so if that taxi price is right there is not a lot of difference for 4 people.
We used a car service based in Bath to go from there to the Bristol airport and were very pleased. It's not a really long distance so the cost (don't remember exactly) was reasonable. Not that much more than bus / train fare for two people. The service we used was Chauffeur Travel, and the web site is (or was) https://chauffeurtravel.co.uk/
Check it out and see if it will work for you.
