What a lot of people do is to use the direct National Express or flixbus bus services.

For a flight at 1700, thus check in at 1400- that means the bus at 0905 from Bath, as the 1215 bus, arriving at 1440 is too tightly timed by some margin, especially if leaving from Terminal 5 at Heathrow.

Likewise the 1145 Flixbus, arriving at 1410 is too tightly timed.

But the 1043 train to Reading, changing to the Rail/Air bus straight outside the station, arrives at Heathrow Terminal 5 at 1249 or Terminal 3 at 1310- which is perfect check in timing. Or half an hour earlier if you want a bit more slack in your timings.

There are many car services that can get you from Bath to Heathrow.

Blackberry Cars is often mentioned on this forum for transfers from Heathrow into London but I believe they also provide service from Bath.

However, it may be better price wise to find a service based in Bath. Why not contact your hotel in Bath and ask for a recommendation. They would probably know popular and reliable services.

We used a private car service based in Bath to go from there to the Bristol airport and were very pleased. Would not hesitate to use them again. I don't remember the cost, but it was reasonable. The service we used was Chauffeur Travel, and the web site is https://chauffeurtravel.co.uk/
