Hi, Is it fairly easy taking public transportation from LHR to Oxford as well as taking public transportation from Oxford to LGW? Thank you!

It is extremely easy to get to Oxford from Heathrow. There are several options, but my favorite is the Oxford Airline bus, which you can get at the airport and it will take you directly to Oxford city center for £25 (and avoids London) and will store your luggage underneath so you don't have to deal with it. You pay the driver with a credit card (or Apple/Google pay) when you board. It's about a 90 minute drive, if I remember correctly. Here is a link: https://www.theairlineoxford.co.uk/
With regards to Gatwick, it's been over 25 years since I've flown there. I do know there is easy public transport either by train or National Express coach (bus). It is a longer ride than the Heathrow bus, but also allows you to store your luggage under the bus, and takes you directly there avoiding London. https://www.nationalexpress.com/en
And i should have remembered that the Airline bus also leaves from Gatwick. It really is the easiest option. The one from Gatwick costs £5 and takes longer.
