We are planning 2 nights in Stratford upon Avon and would like a day trip to Warwick Castle. Is there a bus that goes between the two towns? Or what other options are there? I know they aren’t that far apart.

Stagecoach Buses 15 (final destination is Leamington Spa) and the X18 (final destination Coventry).
Both routes are normally run with double deckers, and until the end of 2024 are £2 each way, under the Government scheme.
The X18 runs half hourly and takes 20 minutes. (2 hourly on a Sunday)
The 15 is hourly, and serves all local villages, so takes 55 minutes (2 hourly on a Sunday).
There is also a direct train every 2 hours- journey time 30 minutes. It is headed for Leamington Spa.
