Trains between Carlisle and Newcastle and Carlisle and Skipton will be back from tomorrow.
The bridge, so badly damaged by the freight train accident several weeks ago, and the surrounding track and infrastructure, have been repaired and are being recommissioned from tomorrow, although it may take until next week to get everything all smoothed out.
Great news for folks trying to get around the northwest and in southern Scotland because the detours were horrendous.
