Train tickets- railcard and purchases

Edited for clarity- Can I buy discounted advance purchase train tickets online and then buy the Two Together Rail Pass upon arrival at Gatwick, providing I have the photos and applications?

I will need tickets for Gatwick to London and back, well as London to York and back, for two people traveling together. I would like to use the Two Together rail card but I'm not sure if I can purchase that, as well as make advance online purchase of those tickets. My trip is Oct 5 arrival. I'm using the National Rail Co website for planning purposes. That is a master site that sends you to different train companies depending on which route/tickets/train you need? Specifically, can I get the Two Together Card and still prepay my train tickets in time for my trip? Thanks again!! Jody

PS We decided to do York Sat/Sun pending satisfactory arrangements. FYI, we are 2 adults traveling into Gatwick on Oct 5, mostly following RS plans for 3 of our days in London (special emphasis on British Museum and Library). I did get the London Pass ( worst case its a break even) and I have yet to figure out the best plan for Oyster Cards (and paper travel card that may not even be an option nor the 2 4 1 deals shared in another of my posts)?

yes you can buy tickets online at the railcard price before you buy the railcard

just make sure you buy the railcard at the station before you travel
