So our flight arrives at Gatwick at 9:40. Contemplating onward travel to Bath. Ticket prices are all over the place. Does an advance purchase of tickets to Bath at 13:03 seem like enough time to deal with immigration??? It's a Saturday if that makes a difference. There's a £40 difference in price, which makes the pre-purchase so tempting. (£19 vs £62)
That sounds like plenty of time to clear immigration. We generally travel through Gatwick and from what I recall it doesn't take that long.
You don't say what day you're travelling but make sure your train is via Reading rather than central London.
Arrival day is Saturday March 11
A walk-up Super Off Peak ticket costs £56 so if you can hang around until 13.03 that Advance ticket for £19 is a good deal.
Thanks all!
