Train or bus advice

We chose to use a car service to meet us after we clear immigration and customs . We will coming off a 9-10 hr overnight flight arriving 12:45 pm and felt it would be simpler and less stressful instead of the National Express bus (takes 2 ½ - 3 hrs) or the Heathrow Express to Paddington to catch the Great Western Railway. ( 2 hrs give or take).

I’d chose the bus (coach) option from the bus station at Heathrow, ca. 2 hours with no changes, cost is about £30.Any luggage goes under the bus. Reasonably comfortable seats. Nice drive through countryside. Train requires either bus to Reading and then train or tube into London and train.
