The A36 is the main road that goes SE from Bath down to Salisbury and Southampton. People also use it to get from Bath to Stonehenge. It is closed not far SE of Bath and the work is likely to take all winter 2024 > 5. This is causing congestion as drivers try to find routes around the blockage. As this is a road likely to be used by tourists, I thought I would mention it on here.
