Traditional English Feast

Does anyone know of somewhere in or near London or Canterbury where you can eat and participate in a traditional English feast?

I guess I am looking for something more "Chaucer" than Medieval. That place kind of sounds like that chain the Medieval Times we have here in the US, which I think is really more dinner theater. I went to London about 7 years ago, and could swear I had found something like the Chaucer kind of feast I am talking about, but we couldn't go for whatever reason. Of course I don't remember what the name was, and now I can't find anything close. Thanks.

I've just returned from taking my wife for a birthday eve Carvery at the local Carvery.

Roast Beef, Roast Turkey, Roast Gammon, Roast Pork, with stuffing, a Yorkie, veggies, special mash and Roasties.

Covered in Gravy.

Will that do? Tradition chain pub ambience.
