If you are planning to use TPE train services or feeders to and from them be aware of the 4 week strike starting this Sunday and for the following 3 Sundays.
Nigel, On Facebook I follow Huddersfield train station and their 'official' pest controller cats Felix and Bolt. Last time I was in York I took a TPE train to see them in person. So, this post drew my attention, but not necessarily for the reasons you posted. I do appreciate your rail updates. P.S. One of the TPE engines is even named after Felix.
Thanks Nigel. I have traveled with I think just about every train company in the UK. For most, numerous times. And the one company that has had consistent problems it was TPE. (I hope that wasnt the company you were with.)
The last time was in November when they canceled a train two minutes before it's scheduled departure. And the alternatives they offered were a fiasco.
But I will give them credit. They contacted me about a refund for that trip--I arrived over two hours late--that was processed quickly.
Thanks Frank II
In England I was just after Regional Railways so Central/London Midland/London Northwestern/West Midlands Trains and RMT Company Council so well acquainted with many others through colleagues on Virgin, Chiltern, Midland Mainline.
At one time I was Wales to East Anglia, London to Liverpool. Never had anything to do with TPE or its forerunners.
