Tower of London & London at Night Bus Tour

My wife and I will be visiting London in a week and 2 sites we are looking to see are :
A) Tower of London
B) London at Night Hop on-Hop-Off Bus Tour

Now I've ready online that many people were given a "free map of London" which included a discount for the London at night bus tour. Does anyone know about this and we were obtain this discount?

Similarly, is there any way to obtain any sort of discount for the Tower of London Tour? Are we best to buy our tickets ahead of time or just wait until we arrive (just in case plans change for some reason)?

I think the Tower of London is included in the 2 for 1 discount until mid-July with the national rail tickets.
