Looks like the Tower of London 2-4-1 deal with National Rail ends on July 23 of this year, according to this link. Do they normally have an end date listed and then extend it once it gets closer? We will be in London the second week of August. The other attractions we're interested in are allowing us to print vouchers for August now. I know it's early-- just trying to plan and budget. thank you in advance for any help!
That makes some sense to me and I'll tell you why.
At the moment there are no timed tickets required so 2-4-1 works because they are walk up tickets.
From the end of the school year things change and tickets for the Tower of London will only be available at half hour timed tickets during the school holidays. The 23 July is about when school holidays start, it varies slightly around the country.
Perhaps they will do something to allow 2-4-1 folks to make reservations, but I wouldn't expect so. Keep an eye and see if it changes.
Thank, you, Nigel. That makes perfect sense, but makes me sad-- family of 5 with teenagers, so it's going to be an expensive activity. I'll keep looking out.
As I recall The Tower of London haven't operated 2For1 for a period in the summer over a number of years in the past.
Your ticket is valid for entry at any time from opening to last admission time, except during school holidays and during events, when half-hourly timeslots apply.
Although the OP has now been, as a point of reference the 2-4-1 at the Tower is now available again, as it is now outwith the summer peak season.
